Development of Final Meeting

I have decided to develop my first concept of the virtual meeting. My five alternative uses for the boatsheds around the concept of this are as follows...

Idea #1:
12 individual pods that people can book out. Each pod contains a computer that people can communicate with others via skype.

Idea #2:
A virtual space created by projector screens. People can come to this space and meet others surrounded by a virtual environment.

Idea #3:
A boardroom that groups can hire out when they require sufficient equipment to host a business meeting with another party through video chat.

Idea #4:
Similar to my original meeting the boatsheds will act as a computer hub. However this idea operates around a series of computer games where people will meet other people in the room through their personalised avatars.

Resulting Idea:
My final idea will be a mixture of a few of the above ideas. 8 individual boatsheds will serve as 8 virtual reality rooms. I will incorporate another 2 boatsheds into my design to act as my computer/control room that will ensure the smooth running of the virtual realities. 8 people will enter into the individual boatsheds where they will use the computer to create a unique avatar which will consequently become fabricated into the virtual reality. The projector screen dominated from will project the virtual reality to make it seem as though the person is really inhabiting this world along with the 7 other individuals. Here they are free to meet and explore this world with one another.
